Nanci Des Gerlaise is a First Nations person born and raised in Northern Alberta to a large family of sixteen where she descended from a long line of medicine men. She and her husband reside in the province of British Columbia. It was there where in 1999 she first renounced false doctrine, including Native Spirituality and all the effects it had in all areas of her life. Her concern is for the Christians out there who believe that there is nothing wrong with worshipping God in a sweat lodge or incorporating Native Spirituality into Christianity. Actually, this is called synecretism - the combining of belief systems that don't really fit - and it does not reflect God's true character.
